The website content is compiled and moderated by Phil Colbourn
Phil Colbourn has been an agricultural scientist and has worked in land restoration research as well as measuring emissions of the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide from arable land and pasture. He is also an information specialist and has worked as a university subject librarian for Rural Sciences at Aberystwyth University.
He has a BSc from Newcastle University in agricultural science with honours in soil science.
He has a PhD from The Imperial College of Science and Technology at the University of London on heavy metal pollution in agricultural land from historic mining activity.
He has an MSc(Econ) from Aberystwyth University in Library and Information Science with distinction. His dissertation dealt with the dissemination of information from research to practitioners in agricultural science.
